This raddish-draksharishth salad makes for a lovely winter lunch accompaniment!


  • Baby Spinach: 1 bunch (Homegrown, organic preferable)
  • Green coriander leaves: 1 bunch (Homegrown, organic preferable)
  • Lettuce leaves: a few (Homegrown, organic preferable)
  • Raddish: 1 medium size (peeled into long, thin strips)
  • Red onion: 1 small (rings separated)
  • Garlic: 2 cloves (smashed or minced fine)
  • Flax seeds: 1 tablespoon
  • Draksharishth: 1 tablespoon (Substitute with red wine)
  • Sesame Oil: 1 teaspoon
  • Raisins: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Rock candy: 1 teaspoon

Method: Whisk the liquids together, and add all the other ingredients. Rest for 30 minutes to let the juices absorb. Serve :)
