Apple jaggery warm dessert for Krishna Bhog
Ingredients:
- Fresh Apples: 4 peeled and roughly chopped
- Jaggery: 1 tablespoon
- Water: 1 cup
- Ghee (Clarified butter): 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon: 1, 1inch stick
- Malai (Fresh cream) for topping
Method:
In a thick bottomed pan, melt the ghee and stir in apples and cinnamon. Wait for them to turn brownish. Add jaggery and water. Cover and let simmer on low heat till the liquid is absorbed. Serve with fresh malai.
This is a lovely bhog for Krishna, especially in winter. Great as nutritious baby food too :)
