Easy to make Beetroot Onion Yoghurt Dip recipe

In winter, this lovely beetroot onion raita goes very well with lunch. It can also be served with sandwiches and burgers.

Ingredients:

Beetroot: 2 (boiled, peeled and diced)

Onion: 1 (peeled and diced)

Green coriander/cilantro: (a sprig, chopped fine)

Green chilly: 1 (Deseeded and sliced)

Toasted Cumin: 1/4 teaspoon

Black or Table salt: As per taste

Thick Yoghurt: 250gm

Sugar: 1/4 teaspoon

Method:

Whisk the yoghurt and add sugar, diced beets, onions and coriander/cilantro. Just before serving, stir in the salt, toasted cumin powder and green chilly. Serve at room temperature.
