Kajari is a seasonal rendition in Classical Indian music, quite like Hori and Chaiti. Mirzapur in eastern Uttar Pradesh is the real home of Kajari rain songs. Girija Devi, Shobha Gurtu, Pundit Chhanulal Misra, and Rajan and Sajan Mishra are leading exponents of Kajari.
