Raddish Draksharishth Salad recipe for an Ayurvedic Winter lunch
This raddish-draksharishth salad makes for a lovely winter lunch accompaniment!
Ingredients:
- Baby Spinach: 1 bunch (Homegrown, organic preferable)
- Green coriander leaves: 1 bunch (Homegrown, organic preferable)
- Lettuce leaves: a few (Homegrown, organic preferable)
- Raddish: 1 medium size (peeled into long, thin strips)
- Red onion: 1 small (rings separated)
- Garlic: 2 cloves (smashed or minced fine)
- Flax seeds: 1 tablespoon
- Draksharishth: 1 tablespoon (Substitute with red wine)
- Sesame Oil: 1 teaspoon
- Raisins: 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Rock candy: 1 teaspoon
Method: Whisk the liquids together, and add all the other ingredients. Rest for 30 minutes to let the juices absorb. Serve :)
