When you are established in your Self, you are not holding on to concepts. You are loose, free, easy and open; just like a child.

Running behind happiness makes you tired. When you run behind happiness you get tired, but when you repose in the self, when you rest, you get energy, and that brings you strength, joy and happiness. So every once in a while, stop the rat race, and take some time out to be with yourself, and get some rest.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says, “You cannot get into yoga (union with the self) unless you drop the desires in you.” So the question is how to drop desires. Meditation is the art of letting go your desires.

Life is much larger than birth & death, failure & success. You are the unblemished, pure eternal Self. Knowing this, you will walk like a King.

Each one of us is a source of energy, love & peace. If we tap into our inner Self & draw strength, we can face any challenge.

'Let my mind merge with the Self'. Mind is the wave; the Self is the ocean. We need to constantly direct our mind inward. Then you will see that all worries disappear and the mind becomes empty.

Meditation is something that changes your destiny. If you just sit for a while and go deep within and repose in the self, things start to change.

Six types of wealth one should have are – Shama (equanimity of the mind), Dama (restraint or say over one’s senses), Uparati (ability to enjoy what one has), Titiksha (endurance or fortitude in both good and bad),Samadhana (being established in the Self, in the Divine) and Shraddha (deep unshakeable faith).

You have to become self-reliant in your emotions. And that is possible through deep meditation alone.

Actually you should remember you are a gift to the world. You are not a burden to the planet but you are a gift and when you feel that self-worth coming up within, you will be able to do wonderful things for people around you. When you are satisfied, when you are fulfilled, you can only think of what you can do for everybody else and to realize that you must realize the fact that you are a gift to this world.

Look at your own life. In the past, you had many problems. They have all come and gone. Know that even this will go and you have the energy and power to overcome it. You will get self-confidence by understanding and looking at your own past.

The goal of education is to increase awareness not information. Watching our inner-responses, knowing that they are there, increases our self-awareness.

Conflict is the nature of the world. Comfort is the nature of the Self. Amidst the conflict seek the comfort.

We need to encourage everyone to be self confident and come out of this ‘lack’ consciousness. Those who have should start serving. Those who don’t have, they should start knowing that they will get what they need and work hard.

Whenever a complaint about someone’s behaviour arises in your heart, just think that they love you very much and that is why they are behaving in this way. Then you will be happy and will be able to stay steady and established in the Self. You will be able to save yourself from all the negativity.

Usually anger comes because of your self-righteousness - 'I am right'. This ‘I am right’ brings such anger and makes you behave nastily. It is as bad as someone telling lies. Got it? You getting nasty or angry, don’t think it is right, that is equally bad.

You have never been in love and at the same time been centered. Look into your Self. Then the love in you will blossom, you will become vast and wide

The less you are attached to your virtues, the more self respect you have. If you get attached to your virtues, you look down upon everybody else and they (the virtues) start diminishing. Non- attachment to virtues brings the highest self respect.
