What was special about Lucknow Mahotsav 2014
Lucknow Mahotsav is an annual, week-long festival organised by the state department of tourism. The food and handicraft stalls are an attempt to highlight Indian, especially Lucknow culture and crafts. There are daily performances by singers, dancers, poets and other artisans. The ticket is a just Rs 10 per person. I remember attending the live performances of Gurdas Maan, Pandit Jasraj, Malini Awasthi and Wadali Brothers here, through the years.
