If you are sad then what is the reason? The sadness in you is there because there is a thorn of desire that is stuck in your heart. And when you don’t notice it, it turns into cynicism, sarcasm, frustration and anger. And if you notice it and manage to pull it out, you will be filled with joy, enthusiasm, contentment and compassion.
If there is fear in your life, if there is confusion in your life, it is because of lack of commitment.
First thing is to get rid of your laziness. When laziness disappears and you hold on to your commitment, then you will see that what you are doing is what you have come here for.
Even if something looks unimportant, you say, “I will finish it”. Then you will be able to enhance your commitment.
Today, can we all make this commitment (to be happy)? Once you start on this journey, I tell you, things will fall in place.
Upakarma (thread changing ceremony) is an annual renewing of commitment to Knowledge, Wisdom, Family and Society!
Come what may, I am not going to lose my smile. This very commitment will bring such an enormous strength from within.
Mind is such that it keeps going up and down. Don't think that your energy will always stay at one level. When there is commitment, then the work progresses with that commitment.

When life has commitment towards human values such as compassion and nonviolence, then life flows in a proper direction.
Don’t let politics sway you away from the path. If you are afraid of politics you cannot be successful in the spiritual realm. You have to cross the barricade of politics. It is the test of your strength, commitment, and your focus.
