3 things obscure our being: 1. The ego 2. Desires 3. The intellect So freeze these things for a little while and then see how meditation happens. Even just this intention, “I want to freeze these three things”, immediately makes a difference.
We should set everyone free and keep our mind empty. If you live with this intention then you are a satsangi (good company).
Let go of all impressions right this moment and be hollow and empty. Just an intention 'to be free' makes you immediately free.
Whatever you put attention on will start manifesting in your life. Intention, attention, manifestation; that is how the universe works.
What we need to understand is that we should know that we already have what we want in life. You start with this intention, ‘I already have what I want’, then what you want will fructify easily. Thinking, ‘I have it’, is like sowing a seed. Once you sow a seed, then you put water and manure and it will sprout and grow. So you know mentally that the seed is there. Same way, whatever you want to achieve in life, know that you are that and you have it. If you think, you don’t have it then only lack grows.
Responsibility and surrender, and intention and surrender are not contrary to each other. In fact, both can go hand in hand. Surrender cannot happen without sankalpa, and sankalpa (intention) will remain incomplete without surrender.
If you act towards others with an intention to gain something from them, then you will have to face sorrow and pain.
You should love your friends and relatives but do not demand anything from them, or get attached to them. You should serve them in whatever way possible. When you set out with a sincere intention to serve then you will never face any misery or sorrow.
